SEGi College’s School of MPU and Language recently conducted a virtual talk on photojournalism organised by the students of Co-curriculum Management.
An experienced photojournalist, Mr Vincent Thian from Associated Press News Agency Company, was invited to deliver his talk for this session. A photojournalist with thirty years of experience, he has travelled to many places to record history through his photos.
This event aimed to educate the public about the basic concepts and principles of photojournalism. The participants were also told about the desired skills to convey the right messages to the public through photography.
He provided great insights on the photojournalist’s job scope and educated the audience on the skills required to communicate a good story to the public through pictures.
