SEGi recently organised an immersive two-day event, Program Perkampungan Illmu SMK Subang Jaya Tingkatan 5, aimed at empowering students and helping them prepare for their upcoming SPM examinations in March 2024. The event, held on 24 and 25 November 2023, saw an impressive turnout of 156 students.
The highlight of the event was the comprehensive SPM revision programme, which covered a total of 10 subjects. Students had the opportunity to delve into key topics and gain a deeper understanding of the subjects that will be assessed in the upcoming examinations. With the guidance of experienced educators from SEGi, students were equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their SPM.
In addition to the academic programme, the students also had a memorable experience as they camped overnight at SEGi. This unique experience allowed them to bond with their best friends and reminisce with old pals before embarking on their SPM journey. The overnight camping provided a refreshing change of environment and fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants.
To kickstart the day with energy and enthusiasm, a morning exercise session was conducted by a team of sport science students from SMK Subang Jaya. The energetic session served as a great warm-up and set a positive tone for the rest of the day’s activities.
SEGi Ambassadors from various faculties took the stage to share their personal experiences and insights during the spokesperson sharing session. These ambassadors provided valuable guidance and inspiration to the students, motivating them to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
The event also included a Coffee Talk session specifically designed for parents. Renowned coach Olly and Carolyn Choo delivered an engaging talk titled “The Power Of Choice.” The informative session shed light on various bursaries, scholarships, and tips for parents to support their children’s educational journey. A total of 40 parents attended the session, demonstrating their commitment to their children’s success.
