SEGi’s Edupreneur Workshop sparks innovation, empowering entrepreneurs in education

SEGi’s Faculty of Education, Languages, Psychology and Music (FoELPM) has taken a significant step towards nurturing entrepreneurial skills among students with a two-day workshop titled the “Edupreneur Business Simulation Game.” The workshop, held in collaboration with HANkidz, The Leadership Preschool, aimed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the mindset and principles needed to succeed in the education sector.

Took place on 9 and 10 November, the workshop provided attendees with valuable insights into the edupreneurship ecosystem. Participants gained knowledge in key areas such as business planning, marketing strategies, and financial management, crucial for establishing successful ventures in the education sector.

On the second day of the workshop, students had a unique opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice through a hands-on business simulation. This exercise allowed them to apply the principles they had learned and gain practical experience in an engaging and interactive manner.

The collaborative effort between FoELPM and HANkidz Leadership Preschool demonstrates a shared commitment to preparing students for success in the rapidly evolving field of education entrepreneurship. By providing a platform for learning and exploration, the workshop serves as a springboard for students to refine their entrepreneurial aspirations.

SEGi University has always been dedicated to empowering its students with the relevant skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their chosen fields. This workshop is yet another testament to SEGi’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within its student community.
