SEGi introduces Early Childhood teacher certification from Finland

SEGi College Subang Jaya is excited and proud to announce our collaboration with HEI (Helsinki International) Schools in Finland.

Reputed to be one of the top education systems in the world, the Finnish system focuses on play rather than repetition and memorising. Learning through play and an emphasis on creativity and emotional and social intelligence produces individuals who are independent and innovative.

While this may be unconventional and an unusual method to many, Finland has proven that their system works. Finland’s students are consistently the top scorers in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), an international test for fifteen-year-olds in language, mathematics and science.

SEGi College Subang Jaya is thrilled to have added this course to our Early Childhood Education Diploma programme. The HEI Schools method teaches young children to be thinkers and doers at a young age, encouraging them to harness their creativity through language, art and music and giving them the confidence to socialise positively as contributing members of their community.

Early Childhood Education is the bedrock of an individual’s solid education because at this crucial age, brain development is at its highest. Well-trained Early Childhood Teachers are in great demand everywhere, and will continue to be so for as long as children are being born.

Call us today at SEGi College Subang Jaya and we’ll lead you on your way to a bright future, as well as to being one of the most important people in the creation of young children’s bright futures.
