SEGi University and Colleges (SEGi) received six (6) recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia for the assessment year 2018/2019, namely:
- SETARA 2018/2019 5-star rating for SEGi University in the Emerging universities (Universities which have been established within the last 15 years) category
- MyQUEST 2018/2019 6-star rating for SEGi College Subang Jaya in the Large (Enrolment > 2000 students) category
- MyQUEST 2018/2019 6-star rating for SEGi College Kota Damansara in the Medium (Enrolment 601-1999 students) category
- MyQUEST 2018/2019 6-star rating for SEGi College Pulau Pinang in the Medium (Enrolment 601-1999 students) category
- MyQUEST 2018/2019 6-star rating for SEGi College Sarawak in the Small (Enrolment < 600 students) category
- MyQUEST 2018/2019 5-star rating for SEGi College Kuala Lumpur in the Large (Enrolment > 2000 students) category
With these recognitions, SEGi sealed its position as the “Most Wins Private Institution” for the assessment year 2018/2019.
Additionally, SEGi University emerged in the top 45% of the 2021 QS World University Rankings: Asia.
