SEGi Sarawak’s future teachers learn from Eduland

SEGi College Sarawak’s Early Childhood Educations students from the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences recently had the privilege of attending a learning session conducted by Grace Wong, the Director of Eduland, a leading local kindergarten with over eighty children under its care.

Wong spoke about her early experiences in the industry, how she had to struggle in the early stages, and how her unique approach to early childhood education finally gained favour among the locals.

The students listened attentively and asked questions about the management of her school. Wong said that communication and mutual understanding with the parents and the teachers she relies on are crucial.

She advised the students to study hard to fair well in their teaching careers in kindergartens. She also welcomed the students to her school because she is happy to help them learn as Early Childhood Education alumni.
