The Leo Club of SEGi College Sarawak recently joined forces with the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank to organise a blood donation campaign 2.0 at Emart supermarket in Batu Kawa on 6th May 2023. The campaign aimed to achieve SDG 3 – Good Health & Well Being by addressing blood shortages and ensuring the blood bank maintained a sufficient supply of safe blood.
The campaign, led by Leo President Cherlyline Chung Zhi Yi, attracted 69 registered participants. Following medical and health screenings, 55 individuals were deemed eligible and successfully donated blood, surpassing SGH’s target of 50 bags.
The Leo Club of SEGi College Sarawak received support from the Lions Club Kota Sentosa, which supplied 50 buns, and SEGi College Sarawak, which sponsored the goody bags. All-In-Pastry Company and partners contributed 50 bags of 5kg rice and nasi lemak vouchers.
