The event kicked off with Elizabeth Kirkbride, Associate Dean of the Schools of Law and Education at the University of Hertfordshire, captivating the audience with her illuminating discourse on the strides taken towards gender equality in the United Kingdom. Her authoritative presentation highlighted the significance of legislative measures such as the Gender Equality Act 2010 in fostering a more inclusive society.
Following Kirkbride’s impactful address, the audience was treated to a masterclass by Morola Hayden, a distinguished Barrister and lecturer from the University of Hertfordshire, who unravelled the complexities of immigration and asylum law in the UK.
