Time flies, and it is time for us to step into the new year again. The year 2020 seems so recent, and I can’t believe we are in the final week of 2021 already. This has been another COVID-19 year for us, full of ups and downs, tears and laughter.
SEGi College Sarawak, like all other institutions, has learned a lot from this pandemic. We have faced challenges, at the same time we have gained opportunities from this seemingly never-ending disease. We transformed ourselves from a conventional higher-learning institution into a digitalised institution, although we are still learning. We have explored new ways to market our academic programmes to potential students and have quickly adapted the need to move towards digitalisation so that we can serve our students better, without requiring them to come to the campus physically.
We have an amazing team of staff members from both the academic and support departments. As the Principal of SEGi College Sarawak, I would like to formally and sincerely express my gratitude for the fantastic work our fellow SEGians have accomplished in 2021. Their work commitment and dedication have brought SEGi College Sarawak to a new level of achievement.
We maintain our MyQuest 6-Star rating (one of the only two private institutions in Sarawak to claim this honour) and have introduced several new programmes to public. We have made learning so flexible that now everyone can study. SEGI College Sarawak couldn’t have done it without our supportive staff and students.
Our college – and all of you who are part of it – will continue to make us proud in 2022. We will maintain our momentum and actively work to shape our own future as one of the best private higher-learning institutions in this region.
