SEGi College Sarawak’s Faculty of Business and Accountancy (FOBA) recently hosted an insightful sharing session on personal tax relief, enriching the academic journey of Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) students. Mdm. Celine Ngu, CA(M), FCCA, an esteemed Audit Manager, illuminated the intricacies of tax planning and financial management in a practical context.
With over 28 years of experience in public practice audit and assurance services, Mdm. Celine’s expertise provided students with invaluable insights into optimizing tax efficiency. The event, attended by 3 lecturers and 17 DIA students, aimed to deepen their understanding of tax codes and identify opportunities for tax savings.
Throughout the session, students learned to navigate tax regulations, implement effective tax planning strategies, and align financial goals with tax-efficient solutions. Mdm. Celine’s guidance equipped students with the skills to make informed decisions regarding investments, savings, and expenditures, contributing to a robust financial plan.
