What is fashion? It can be defined in many ways based on own experiences and expectations. Here, we encouraged the children to show their talent through a runway fashion show!
On 26 November 2022, Early Childhood Education Club from SEGi College Penang, organised “Kidz Fashion Show” for 4 to 6 years old children from various preschools in Penang.
The theme of the runway was Disneyland. Many children participated actively and showcased their outfits on the stage by introducing themselves creatively.
To arouse excitement among the young children, the future ECE practitioners from Diploma in Early Childhood Education, SEGi College Penang, initiated the ramp walk with various demonstrations so that the children would get some ideas for their runway.
The children from this fashion show proved they have the talent to be future models. As an organiser, we are glad to see high self-esteem among the children. This braveness will lead to a better commitment and presentation from them in future.
The event would not be successful without the support from Persatuan Pengusaha Institusi Pendidikan Pulau Pinang, Persatuan Majikan Pusat Pendidikan Malaysia and our panel of judges from JPN, PPD Barat Daya and PPD Timur Laut.
