A webinar was organised by Ms Suganthi A/P Lokonathan, the programme leader of the Nursing Department of SEGi College Kuala Lumpur on 24 February 2022. Ms Kasturi, our nursing student was appointed as the moderator of the session.
Mr Kevin, the Nursing Manager of Care Giver Asia, was invited to give a talk on career opportunities in the nursing profession. The session was very helpful and inspiring for us to learn about the availability of various scopes in healthcare industries.
The fundamental requirements for the role of the registered nurse was discussed, including the ability to cope in potentiality, confidentiality, the maintenance of ethical codes of conduct, and clinical skills. A registered nurse (RN) must have an effective communication, good judgment, and problem-solving skills. Currently, there are a few RN positions available at Caregiver. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply for the post.
In addition, there is an opportunity to work in Singapore, as currently many positions of RN is available there. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this job position. The salary range for the post is between SGD 2000-2200 with a lodging allowance of SGD 500 per month. We are very excited to complete our studies and join them.
