Stephen Hawking has said that “disability need not be an obstacle to success”, and this statement really applies to one of the students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism SEGi College Subang Jaya.
Shahrol Aiman bin Hasan is a young man who chose to ignore his disability and instead worked hard to achieve his goals. With only one leg to walk on, he is more energetic and enthusiastic in his tasks than many non-disabled people. On May 2022, he walked to campus with pride and a big smile after completing his four-month internship in a 4-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur. He successfully did his internship presentation and is now waiting for his convocation.
People with disabilities are, often, some of the strongest and most courageous people. Shahrol has proven he has these virtues throughout his performance in the Diploma in Hotel Management.
SEGi College Subang Jaya proudly congratulates Shahrol and cheers him on his future undertakings.
