In a concerted effort to address the pressing issue of mental health, SEGi organised an enlightening webinar, titled ‘Drama or Depression,’ conducted via Facebook Live and Zoom Live. Esteemed speakers gracing the event included Dr. Andrew Ng, a seasoned counsellor with over 40 years of practical experience and founder of the Agape Counselling Centre Malaysia. Dr. Yeoh Sun Wei, a respected lecturer and Head of Psychology at SEGi, and Ms. Lee Jie Ryn, a second year Bachelor’s in Science Psychology student at SEGi, in collaboration with the University of Greenwich.

The webinar delved into a comprehensive discussion covering various facets of depression, including recognizing its signs, addressing the generation gap in understanding depression, dismantling the stigma associated with mental health, and sharing personal experiences. The speakers brought a wealth of expertise and perspectives to the table, creating an informative and engaging session.
