The Esports Lab at SEGi Subang Jaya came alive as students filled the room with cheers, laughter, and the unmistakable intensity of a good Valorant showdown. Organised by the Esport Club, the tournament brought fifteen passionate players together for a day where reflexes, strategy, and pure adrenaline took centre stage.
What started as a friendly competition quickly became a full-on community moment. Teams huddled to plan their next move, players shouted callouts across the room, and even those knocked out early stayed back to cheer on the rest. It was the kind of environment where everyone felt included — a place where gamers didn’t just compete, they connected.
SEGi Subang Jaya continues to support these student-led initiatives because gaming teaches more than mechanics. Throughout the day, students demonstrated sharp communication, quick problem-solving, and incredible mental focus, proving how esports can build confidence and strengthen soft skills in real time.
The highlight of the event came when the top three finalists sat together for a celebratory photo — tired, happy, and absolutely proud of themselves. For many, this wasn’t just a tournament; it was the moment they realised they could push their limits and enjoy every second of it.
This event was organised in support of the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):
