#SEGiGlobalClassroom Series features Lee Thomas of the University of South Wales on branding and understanding the creative process

Re: Mr Lee Thomas (top left) explaining “Elements in a TV Advertisement”

In our continuous effort to bridge international learning and maximise our students’ educational experience, SEGi College Subang Jaya’s Faculty of Creative Arts and Design collaborated with University of South Wales (USW), UK,  conducted an interesting and informative live talk, the first of more to come, on Tuesday 22nd February 2022 at 430pm (MYT) / 830am (UKT).

Entitled “Branding and Understanding the Creative Process”, Mr Lee Thomas, USW’s Advertising Design programme course leader shared numerous alumni examples and explored the topic in detail as students actively participated in the Q+A session at the end of the one-hour plus live presentation. This was actually a glimpse of his Creative Storyboard session, a Masterclass which he successfully holds for students in the UK which he hopes to extend to our FOCAD students in the near future.

About forty FOCAD students from our Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur and Kuching campuses who joined the session were glad to have gained this new knowledge.

SEGi’s FOCAD looks forward to more such international collaborations which benefit our students by inspiring their creativity and confidence.
