SEGI College Subang Jaya’s Diploma in Early Childhood Education students held a joint charity event with volunteers from Spring A/G Rawang Church on 21 May 2022 at Bandar Country Homes, Rawang as a token of their care and concern for several minority groups in the community in conjunction with Mother’s Day.
Twenty-five students and nine church leaders families touched the hearts of forty families in need, through the generosity of twenty-five corporate sponsors who gave a total of RM7000 worth of gifts. These gifts came in the form of necessities such as food, groceries, school uniforms, school bags, school shoes, stationery sets, vitamins, face masks, hand sanitisers, sanitary pads, milk powder, and disposable diapers.
As an institution that truly cares, SEGi is glad to have partnered with Spring A/G Rawang to bring food and hope to those in desperate need of these, and to put smiles on their faces. We look forward to organising more of these charity events that truly matter.
