SEGi College Subang Jaya is thrilled to announced that we will be moving to the new Edumetro @ Subang Jaya development second half this year. The new campus is being built to serve the next generation of learners, and it will be outfitted with cutting-edge educational facilities and teaching and learning methods. The campus, which has a capacity of 4,500 students, will provide a welcoming and modern learning environment for students from a variety of backgrounds.
The college will move its campus within the development with the developer, HCK Capital Group. Edumetro’s location is ideal for SEGi’s growth plans because it is strategically located to meet the needs of the immediate and surrounding population areas. Stella Lau, Managing Director of SEGi University & Colleges, said the integrated living and learning development concept, makes it an ideal location for SEGi’s new campus.
Edumetro is expected to become one of Subang Jaya’s most popular lifestyle, business, and education hotspots as a result of the collaboration between SEGi College and HCK Capital Group. The development created a vibrant environment for all levels of society by providing a diverse range of social activities. This will result in a lively environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
The new campus is 8km from the current SEGi College Subang Jaya location, and it spans approximately 200,000 sq ft, which is larger than the current campus. It is easily accessible via major highways such as the Federal Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS). It is also conveniently accessible by public transportation like the Rapid KL buses, LRT, MRT and KTM.
On its interior, the designs are inspired with many Sarawak elements, such as certain parts of the wall designs are inspired by Mulu Caves, home to the largest underground chamber and the world’s largest cave passage. At the same time, the waves design at the ceiling are inspired by Rajang River, the longest river in Malaysia.
The new campus will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including computer labs, science labs, engineering labs, culinary art labs, music studio, e-sport lab, student lounge, auditorium, a multi-purpose mall and many more.
