Christian Fellowship Welcome Party

Sometimes, the best kind of welcome is a simple one — new faces, easy laughter, shared songs, and a space where people can feel at home.

That was the heart of the SCSJ Christian Fellowship Welcome Party, organised to bring students together in a warm and supportive setting where connection came first. More than just an introduction session, it gave students the chance to get to know one another, break the ice, and experience the spirit of fellowship in a more personal way.

The programme brought together 13 students and was guided by Mr Wan Mun Chian, Club Advisor and Psychology Programme Leader, whose presence added encouragement and support throughout the session. From the lively Human Charade ice breaker to the worship session where students sang together, the atmosphere felt relaxed, friendly, and full of genuine interaction.

One of the most meaningful moments came during the sharing session, where students sat in a circle, picked questions, and opened up about their thoughts and experiences. It turned a simple gathering into something more memorable — a space where new students could feel seen, heard, and welcomed.

By the end of the session, the event had done exactly what it set out to do: strengthen bonds, spark new friendships, and build a fellowship environment rooted in care, faith, and community.
