The Discover, Create & Connect Talk Session brought new students together for an afternoon of honest conversations, practical guidance, and plenty of encouragement at SEGi Subang Jaya.
Organised by the 18th Student Representative Council, the session focused on helping first-year students settle into campus life with confidence. Through real stories, relatable experiences, and useful strategies, students explored how to manage stress, build healthy routines, and make the most of their first year.
The heart of the session was connection. Students listened, laughed, asked questions, and discovered that they were not navigating this journey alone. The open and relaxed setting at the Student Lounge made it easy for everyone to share, reflect, and meet new people.
More than just advice for surviving the first semester, the session encouraged students to recognise their strengths, embrace positive habits, and reach out to the communities and resources that will support them throughout their studies.
