SEGi College’s Leo Club joined forces with Sarawak General Hospital’s Blood Bank for Blood Donation Campaign 3.0, held at Vivacity Megamall Kuching. With the goal of addressing blood shortages and promoting Good Health & Well Being (SDG 3), the event attracted 55 participants, with 50 eligible donors contributing to the cause.
Under the leadership of Leo Bernice Ting Jing Ju, the campaign saw active participation from both SEGi students and SGH medical personnel. Sponsoring Lions Club Kota Sentosa provided essential refreshments, while generous donations from various sponsors ensured each donor received a token of appreciation, including vouchers and food items.
Notably, 50 bags of rice were sponsored by Sim Puay Eng, highlighting the community’s support for the initiative. Authentic Chicken Rice generously sponsored lunch for SGH officers and Leo Club members, further enhancing the collaborative spirit of the event.
The successful Blood Donation Campaign 3.0 underscores SEGi’s commitment to promoting community health and well-being, reflecting its ethos of social responsibility and active engagement in addressing pressing societal issues.
