SEGi’s Early Years Students Enchant Young Audiences

SEGi College Sarawak’s Bachelors (Hons) Early Years Education in collaboration with University of Greenwich’s students recently took storytelling to a whole new level, captivating young minds at Taska Cahaya Horizon, Kuching. As part of their innovative curriculum, students of the University of Greenwich’s 3+0 programme transformed into lively vegetables, enthralling an audience of 20 three-year-olds with a tale of bravery, colour, and imagination.

With boundless creativity and energy, the students brought characters like Brave Broccoli, Colourful Carrot, and Tough Tomato to life, engaging their young spectators in an interactive storytelling experience. Through playful interactions and catchy sound effects, they not only entertained but also imparted valuable lessons, seamlessly bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application.

This imaginative initiative not only showcases the creativity of UOG’s Early Years Education students but also underscores the effectiveness of hands-on learning in preparing future preschool teachers. By seamlessly blending educational theories with practical experience, SEGi continues to uphold its commitment to excellence in education, nurturing the talents of tomorrow’s educators.

With the ability to captivate and inspire young minds, UOG’s Early Years Education programme sets a high standard for preschool education, ensuring that every child’s journey begins with a touch of magic and wonder.
