SEGi Leos in Action: Making a Meaningful Impact

SEGi College Sarawak’s commitment to community service was on full display during the recent charity food fair event held at the Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS). Led by SEGi Leos, Sg Tapang Leos, and the Lion Club of Kota Sentosa, a total of 15 dedicated individuals came together to support the Sarawak Society for the Deaf.

Under the guidance of Albert Wong and Ernest Ting, the event saw the participation of various non-governmental organizations and private companies, with approximately 71 stores set up. The presence of esteemed guests, including Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Prof. Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak, underscored the significance of the occasion.

The charitable spirit was palpable as attendees flocked to the food and beverage stalls, with SEGi’s store selling out by 11 am. This remarkable turnout reflects the collective effort to raise community funds and support a noble cause. SEGi College Sarawak is proud to have played a significant role in this impactful event, embodying its ethos of compassion and social responsibility.

Through initiatives like the charity food fair, SEGi continues to make a positive impact in the community, fostering a culture of giving and service among its students and staff.
