SEGi College Sarawak’s Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the Faculty of Creative Design and Information Technology, organised a captivating mini exhibition on 23 June 2023. The event served as a beacon of forward-thinking, highlighting products encompassing early childhood education, psychology, creative multimedia, and information technology.
With a resolute focus on providing children with a strong foundation, the exhibition spotlighted the paramount importance of high-quality education from an early age. Backed by a wealth of data, including UNESCO’s findings, the event underscored the profound impact of early childhood education on lifelong learning.
Steering education’s trajectory further, the role of psychology in enhancing learning outcomes took centre stage. Citing sources like the American Psychological Association, the exhibition showcased how psychology can catalyse effective learning strategies, fostering student success.
Notably, the fusion of modern technology and education was celebrated as the next frontier. The exhibition, tapping into the digitisation wave, resonated with findings from a Pearson report that emphasised the transformative role of technology in modern education.
The event seamlessly merged celebrations, commemorating Raya Gawai and SEGi Sarawak’s Open Day. The inclusion of a mobile legend competition demonstrated the institution’s pulse on youth engagement. Aligning with the event’s inclusive spirit, it echoed data from Statista4 showcasing the global growth of esports as a social connector.
As the curtain fell on this multifaceted exhibition, it reaffirmed SEGi College Sarawak’s dedication to nurturing holistic education that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal of Quality Education. The institution’s commitment to equitable and inclusive learning experiences positions it as a trailblazer in the realm of 21st-century education.
