SEGi heralded a momentous occasion with its Student Bodies Installation Ceremony 2024 on Friday, 1 March, 2024. The ceremony not only marked the formal handover of responsibilities from the Student Representative Council (SRC) 2023 to SRC 2024 but also celebrated the outstanding achievements of various student clubs.
Amidst an atmosphere of camaraderie and achievement, the LEO Club Of SEGi garnered acclaim as the Best Club of the Year 2023, while the Arts De’ Performance Club was honoured with the Rising Club Award, underscoring SEGi’s vibrant extracurricular landscape.
Vincent Cheong, recognised as the Best Club Advisor for 2023, exemplified SEGi’s commitment to mentorship and guidance, further enhancing the college’s academic and holistic learning environment. Notably, Lerron Kukreja was lauded as the Best Club President of 2023, reaffirming SEGi’s ethos of nurturing effective leadership within its student body.
As appreciation certificates were distributed to the outgoing SRC and clubs, the ceremony symbolised SEGi’s recognition of student contributions and its unwavering support for their endeavours.
The event culminated in a pledge ceremony, as SRC 2024 and the Clubs and Societies of 2024 vowed to uphold SEGi’s legacy of excellence and amplify the voices of students within the college community. With new leadership at the helm, SEGi continues to exemplify its commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence, empowering students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
