The Faculty of Business and Accountancy (FOBA) at SEGi College Sarawak is spearheading a month-long campaign to promote sustainable consumption and production through digital awareness. Running from 13 November to 11 December 2024, the campaign leverages engaging online content to raise awareness and inspire eco-friendly habits among students, staff, and the wider community.
Recognising the crucial role of SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) in achieving a sustainable future, the campaign aims to:
- Educate: Through informative YouTube videos tailored for different audiences, the campaign provides valuable knowledge about sustainable consumption and production practices.
- Inspire: The campaign encourages individuals to make conscious choices by highlighting how small changes in daily life, such as reducing waste, choosing eco-friendly products, and conserving resources, can contribute to a more sustainable future.
- Engage: By facilitating online discussions and encouraging participants to share their thoughts on sustainable living, the campaign fosters a sense of community and collective responsibility.
