A group of students from SEGi College Penang’s School of Information Technology organised an eSport competition in Valorant on 5 -6 November 2022.
A total of 8 teams participated with a total prize pool of RM300. Each team consists of 5 participants. The 8 teams are ISNT Madness, Vanquisher Squad, Insanitea, VLOST, EloGG, TuahTani, TR, and Ninjustice Esports.
Round of 8 was held on 5 November 2022. This round was based on the best-of-one. The Semi-Final and Final were held on 6 November. The Semi-Final and Finals are best-of-three.
The two teams which made it to the finals were Team TR and Team VLOST. Team TR won the final after a lengthy battle between the two finalists. The students that organised this event gained valuable experience in event management that involved important leadership and management skills.
