SEGi College Penang’s Department of Information Technology has taken a significant step forward by officially signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KODE Digital Sdn. Bhd., marking a new chapter in industry-academia collaboration. This partnership aims to equip students with real-world skills by integrating industry engagement directly into the academic curriculum, providing students with essential insights into key areas such as PHP programming, UI/UX Design, and Project Development.
The MoU, formalised during a special ceremony, highlights SEGi College’s commitment to preparing its students for the ever-evolving tech industry. By bridging the gap between classroom learning and market demands, this collaboration ensures that students gain practical, hands-on experience, positioning them ahead of the curve as they step into the professional world.
The partnership focuses on three vital courses within SEGi’s Diploma in Information Technology program: Introduction to Internet Programming, UI/UX Design, and Integrated System Projects. KODE Digital, a recognised leader in digital solutions, will offer mentorship and real-life project exposure, providing students with an invaluable opportunity to apply academic knowledge to professional requirements.
