SEGi’s Valued Corporate Partnership (VCP) strategy aims to connect with major industry players to form a collaboration to leverage the comparative advantage of each partner for sustainable development. This contact with a varied network of significant corporations will benefit all parties, particularly our students, because VCPs can provide excellent advice on how to develop our programmes to meet current trends. SEGi College Penang (SCPG) now has a pool of almost 200 hundred Valued Corporate Partners namely Multinational corporations and small & medium-sized enterprises from a wide range of industries.
Collaboration can have influential effects on student learning along with student characteristics, group composition, and task characteristics. Specifically, the 4 C’s of 21st Century Learning has embraced collaboration as one of the learning and innovation skills necessary for higher education and workforce success.

Opportunities for Continuing Education
Staff and family members are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition for selected programmes at any of our five sites. In addition, for every tenth enrolling of an employee from an organisation, an RM10,000 rebate can be claimed.
SEGian Talents at Your Fingertips
As VCPs, you will be given first preference in recruiting the brightest of our Talent Management Programme students. We arrange for students to be placed for internships in addition to providing job referrals. All VCPs are invited to partake in our SEGi Career Expo or Talk once a year.
Collaboration with Academic Schools and Faculties
We take great pride in our meticulously planned programmes, and as a VCP, your field of knowledge qualifies you to serve as an Industry Advisor and, assist in the improvement of our educational programmes and syllabuses. Our VCPs may also enlist the help of students and faculty in the development and execution of your company’s events, such as market launches and CSR initiatives.
Visibility of the brand and the product
Our VCP programme participants are highlighted on the SEGi website and in other joint efforts that reach a large audience. During our various official and social events, such as education expos, yearly dinners, and cultural nights, we will also highlight your company’s name. Our VCPs may be included in one of our numerous scholarship programmes.
Use of Facilities & Services is Free
The many amenities offered on campus are made available to our VCPs. Take full advantage of our vast multi-purpose halls and auditoriums by establishing promotional booths. You may also hold your various company activities in our large multi-purpose halls and auditoriums. Every quarter, we host a social day for our VCPs to interact and form new and strengthen current networks.
