In the spirit of Merdeka and in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the SEGian Care Club hosted a vibrant Merdeka Chai Chat — blending culture, food, and togetherness into one memorable evening.
Held at The Craft Mock Restaurant, the event brimmed with festive energy as students decorated the venue with Jalur Gemilang flags and colourful displays. A specially crafted menu represented the national colours — Golden Roti Jala, fluffy Appom, Pulut Kaya, and Rendang — with fragrant chai and crispy pani puri adding extra flavour and joy.
Performances, laughter, and inspiring words from student leaders, the Principal, and the Advisor made the celebration even more meaningful. The highlight wasn’t just the food or the music, but the sense of unity, resilience, and pride in Malaysia’s multicultural spirit.
