In a strategic move to enhance the practical competencies of its early childhood education students, SEGi College Penang organised an immersive tour to Dragonfly The Leaders Preschool. This initiative aimed to provide students with firsthand experience of professional work habits, ethics, and organisational standards within a dynamic educational environment.
During the visit, students engaged deeply with the preschool’s culture, observing classroom dynamics and interacting with seasoned educators. This exposure is pivotal in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, ensuring that future educators are well-prepared to meet industry expectations.
The management at Dragonfly expressed high satisfaction with the students’ performance, particularly noting their keen observation skills and insightful interview questions. Impressed by their professionalism, Dragonfly extended practicum offers to two outstanding students: Grace Ng Yu Qing and Toh Jia Wen.
