🌱 Nurturing Future Educators: Early Childhood Education Students Gain Industry Insights at LEADERland Southbay

Students from the Diploma in Early Childhood Education programme at SEGi College Penang recently embarked on an educational visit to LEADERland Southbay, Penang, where they gained valuable insights into modern preschool education and holistic child development.

The visit provided students with first-hand exposure to the importance of children’s nutrition and healthy menu planning in supporting early childhood growth and well-being. Through interactive sharing sessions, students learned how balanced nutrition contributes to children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development.

In addition to nutrition, students were introduced to innovative teaching approaches adopted by LEADERland, including the integration of digital learning tools to create engaging and effective classroom experiences. The session highlighted how technology can enhance teaching and learning while supporting the developmental needs of young children.

The educational visit enabled students to connect classroom theories with real-world practices, giving them a deeper understanding of the knowledge, skills, and creativity required to become effective early childhood educators.

SEGi College Penang extends its sincere appreciation to Coach Ann, Coach Su Wei, Coach Steve, and Coach Winnie for their warm hospitality and for generously sharing their expertise and professional experiences. Their guidance made the visit both meaningful and inspiring for our future educators.

By strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry practice, SEGi College Penang continues to provide students with experiential learning opportunities that prepare them to make a positive impact in the field of early childhood education.
