SEGi recently celebrated Hari Malaysia with a unique and vibrant twist, thanks to a collaborative effort between Communication school students and lecturers. The event, held on 27 September 2023, was a lively fusion of culture, art, and a nostalgic nod to the 90s.
The celebration featured a nostalgic corner with 90’s sweets, an ice cream station with traditional flavors, an impressive art gallery displaying student works, and a popular face painting booth. Beyond the festive activities, the event served as a valuable platform for students to enhance their public relations and communication skills through real-world interactions.
In addition to promoting unity and mutual understanding within the academic community, the celebration showcased the diverse talents of SEGi students, contributing to a vibrant campus atmosphere.
The event successfully embodied the spirit of Hari Malaysia – a day to commemorate the country’s formation and celebrate the shared culture and values that make Malaysia unique. It left participants with hearts full of pride and cherished memories, emphasizing the importance of embracing the past, celebrating the present, and fostering creative talents for a bright future.
