At SEGi College Kuala Lumpur, one of the topmost priorities of the Students Representative Council (SRC) is to help the College Management to ensure that all students are given every opportunity to excel academically and extend emotional, mental, and psychological support.
In their pursuit of these goals, the council recently conducted the event “Jom Lepak”, in English, meaning “Let’s Hang Out”, to allow the students to do something fun together while enjoying nature and local historical art. The trip included students from SEGi College Kuala Lumpur and SEGi University Kota Damansara and was chaperoned by SEGi counsellor Kwan Pearl Li.
When all the participants were gathered at the SEGi KL campus, they boarded the bus on their way to the first destination, Titiwangsa Park. While exploring the park, they played some games, which filled the atmosphere with laughter and camaraderie. Then they had a light lunch and proceeded to the next stop, the National Art Gallery. Here they were encouraged to observe the art and culture within the gallery walls and take as many photos as they could as keepsakes.
It was a fun and happy day for everyone involved, and the SRC looks forward to coming up with similar fun activities as it continues to be pillars of support for all SEGi students.
