SEGi College Kuala Lumpur recently held the Merdeka Poster Competition to impart a sense of pride and patriotism and in celebration of the Malaysian Independence.
The contributions of the students were heartwarming – they exhibited so much excitement and demonstrated so much patriotism through their posters using this year’s logo and theme of “The Malaysian Family in Strength and Solidarity” (“Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama”). The winners of the poster competition were honoured with certificates of participation and gifts.
Being in the education sector, it is our responsibility to educate the next generation about the value of harmony, social cohesion and peace, because these factors not only form the foundation of a successful nation but are also essential towards its political, social, and economic development. All our students should possess strong moral principles as young leaders and learn to communicate effectively with others and to negotiate disparities in race, language, culture, and religion in their efforts to continue to forge a solid nation.
At SEGi, we not only serve our students individually, but our nation as a whole.
