At SEGi College Kuala Lumpur, we create new platforms and various opportunities for continuous student experience and development with a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create leaders of the future. We prepare students for 21st century teaching and learning.
On 2nd March 2023, students of the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care carried out an industry collaboration activity with Q-dees Kuala Lumpur Traders Square. The students showcased their hands on math activities to the children at the centre.
The students were divided into two groups to carry out activities with the young children on learning math in a fun and easy way. The preschool children had a great time engaging with and learning from our students. They laughed and chatted away with our students, clearly enjoying the math session, and later were given special rewards for their participation.
Our students had a fun and insightful learning experience conducting the activities, having done a lot of prior preparation the day before. The activity was also part of the students’ field learning experience which will add value to their future careers.
