The two new programmes are BSc Honours in Computer Science (Cyber Security and Networks) and BSc Honours in Computer Science (Cyber Security and Networks) (Artificial Intelligence). This collaboration is timely as the demand for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence experts grows.
According to MarketsandMarkets, the global cyber security market is predicted to increase at a compound yearly growth rate of 10.2% from US$152.7 billion in 2018 to US$248.3 billion by 2023. In another report, Allied Market Research shared that the artificial intelligence market is expected to increase from US$27.23 billion in 2019 to US$266.92 billion by 2027, at a CAGR of 33.2% throughout the forecast period.
With these two new programmes, SEGi College Kuala Lumpur is well-positioned to address the needs of the industry. SEGi College’s relationship with the University of Hertfordshire strengthens the college’s commitment to offering students with industry-relevant programmes and practical instruction.
