SEGi College Kuala Lumpur’s School of Computing and IT recently held a talk by industry experts from the SAS Institute, who shared their thoughts and experiences with students on the topic of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and data science. The main objective of this talk was to help our IT students understand the value of SAS certifications, data science and the multiple career opportunities these offer.
During the talk, the experts emphasised that obtaining a qualification in SAS develops a wide range of desired skills and opens up a variety of career choices. Companies need talented people who can tame data, provide insight, and recommend actions. The system provides effective, efficient, and secure technology for data science, from data to discovery to deployment. This analytic ability and data science are top skills that are required by businesses everywhere.
The students were urged to start thinking about the unique skill requirements to take advantage of the opportunity to enrol for courses in SAS and data science, a qualification which would improve their performance and propel their careers.
