SEGi College Kuala Lumpur’s School of Computing and IT (SOCIT) organised a hands-on training programme called the “Android Application Development Workshop” from 19 to 21 December 2022.
The main objective of this workshop was to help our IT students learn the basics of Android app development and to enable them to develop their applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose in Android Studio programmes.
A total of 17 students from various levels of IT and Computer Science studies participated in this educational workshop, their first step in learning about mobile application development. We are happy to report that everyone enjoyed appeared to enjoy the hands-on practice.
On the last day of the workshop, all the participants successfully created a simple Android application using Android Studio. They were able to find solutions to their particular assignment problems.
