Commitment to Healthy Relationships

SEGi College Subang Jaya recently hosted an engaging event called “The Path to Wellness: Embracing and Navigating Reproductive Health” on 22 July 2024. Organised by the School of MPU, this event aimed to raise students’ awareness about the importance of setting boundaries in relationships and understanding vital aspects of reproductive health, such as contraception and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This initiative reflects SEGi’s commitment to holistic education and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4: Quality Education).

The session featured valuable insights from Sarah Jamaluddin of the Orphan Care Foundation, who highlighted the essential role of personal boundaries in creating safe and meaningful relationships. With 43 participants attending, the event fostered a collaborative atmosphere where students could expand their knowledge and engage in open discussions about maintaining healthy relationships during their college years.

By addressing these important topics, SEGi College Subang Jaya reaffirms its dedication to student well-being, ensuring that students are not only prepared academically but also equipped with the knowledge to navigate personal relationships responsibly.

This event is organised in support of the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):
