A “Financial Literacy for Youth” workshop, held at SEGi College Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, 15th January 2025, empowered students to take control of their finances and confidently navigate the complexities of today’s financial world.
Organised by the Student Experience Office, the workshop attracted 10 enthusiastic students eager to enhance their financial knowledge. The interactive session delved into essential topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and responsible credit card use.
Recognising the increasing prevalence of online financial activity, the workshop also emphasised internet banking safety and highlighted common scams targeting young people. Students gained valuable insights into protecting themselves from fraud and making informed financial decisions in the digital age.
By fostering financial literacy among its students, SEGi College Kuala Lumpur is nurturing responsible and informed individuals equipped to achieve their financial goals.
