SEGi College Kuala Lumpur hosted a career talk and internship opportunities by Resort World Genting on 14 March 2023, to expose students to the emerging industry of hospitality and tourism management. The session was held at the Mock Restaurant from 9-11 AM, with the aim of providing valuable industry knowledge to students and answering any questions they had.
SEGi College Kuala Lumpur’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management recognised the value of practical exposure and real-life industry experience in preparing students to face the challenges and demands of the real work environment. Industrial visits and talks have already been identified as crucial for science and engineering students to understand job demands.
During the two-hour session, students learned about industry expectations, challenges, trends, career opportunities, benefits, and perks of working for Resort World Genting. The session was eye-opening for the students who attended, who were inspired by the amazing team’s strong will and passion.
