In a move to boost student employability, SEGi College Kuala Lumpur recently hosted a dynamic “Resume Writing & Interview Skills Workshop” for twenty eager students. Organised by the Student Experience Office (SEO), the workshop, held on 13 November, provided valuable training in key job application skills.
Led by industry expert Mr. Kovind M Jaganathan, the session focused on practical learning and covered essential topics such as resume optimisation, effective writing techniques, interview mastery, and professional etiquette. Students engaged in hands-on activities, gaining confidence in crafting strong resumes and navigating interviews effectively.
By the end of the workshop, participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills to:
- Identify key elements of a strong resume.
- Confidently answer common interview questions.
- Understand professional conduct during the interview process.
- Develop strategies to increase their employability.
This initiative reflects SEGi’s commitment to providing students with a well-rounded education that extends beyond the classroom and prepares them for success in the competitive job market.
