SEGi University & Colleges will continue to adhere to the Government’s Movement Control Order which has been extended for another two weeks, from 14 April 2020 to 28 April 2020. All SEGi University and College premises in Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Subang, Penang, and Sarawak, will remain closed in this duration.
The Movement Control Order, which is made under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967, has ordered for the closure of all non-essential business premises and public and private education institutions nationwide, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Online classes are on-going as per the arrangement by the respective faculties. Students are to continue communicating with the faculty staff regarding classes and examinations and adhere to the rules under the Movement Control Order, including avoiding any form of travel or gathering with peers during this period.
All operational and management staff will continue to work from home and must be reachable for communication during the stipulated working hours. They are also required to discuss alternative work arrangements and business as usual continuity plan with their head of departments in the said period.
