The Faculty of Dentistry fielded one (1) student research project for oral presentation, two (2) for poster presentations (competing category) and two (2) more for poster presentations (non-competing category) to the 10th National Dental Students’ Scientific Conference 2018 organised by the FOD, Melaka Manipal Medical College on the 4-5th May 2018. In addition, two (2) teams with four (4) members each participated in ‘Impaction 4’ quiz competition which was held together with the 10th NDSSC 2018. 13 national and 4 international universities participated in this conference. The students competed with dental students from 13 universities for oral presentations, 25 posters for competing category, and 13 posters for non-competing category and with a total of 21 quiz teams from national and international universities.

The Best Poster Presentation under non-competing category was awarded to the following project:
