The Faculty of Dentistry (FOD), SEGi University fielded one Fixed Partial Denture (FPD) case presented by Year 5 student Chong Jun Ning, at the “3M-MAP Intervarsity Prosthodontic Competition 2018”on 12/05/2018 at the 3M Customer Innovation Centre, Mercu PICORP, Kuala Lumpur . The competition themed “Bridge the Gap” was opened to all 13 dental schools in Malaysia. Students were given 3M oral care products (Express 2 Heavy Body & Light Body wash impression material, RelyX U200 resin cement & RelyX Temp NE temporary cement, Protemp 4 provisional material and Express XT Putty Soft impression material) to use to present a clinical case of FPD in the competition. Eleven (11) dental schools participated. Each participant submitted a written case report and made an oral presentation.

The clinical case was supervised by FOD Prosthodontic lecturers. This competition was a good platform for sharing and learning clinical cases.
