SEGi College Subang Jaya is very happy to announce that we’ve decided to take exams out of the equation for our Media, Arts and Design programmes.
SEGi College is dedicated to producing students who crave creative excellence. So we made this shift to work-based learning because we believe that exam-based learning doesn’t boost creativity in these areas. With the elimination of exams, all our students in our media, arts and design courses will find themselves immersed happily in their creativity and imagination, and these are what we want to inspire. We make sure that our students emerge with the competitive advantage that will put them at the forefront of the creative media industry in the near future.
Thus learning will centre on work-based curriculums honing in on content creation and production with the support of our industry partners.
SEGi College Subang Jaya provides this work-based learning focusing on content creation and production, with industry collaboration and support through our sixty corporate partners. This includes one-to-one facilitation and consultation with academicians and a work-based coach (WBL) with extensive experience and expertise in both academics and industry. We employ various teaching methods which implement real-life projects within the industry.
All coursework and projects will be set and evaluated by these expert industry practitioners in order to maximise our students’ learning experience. Besides the multivarious industry partners we provide for our students, we also have the KRU Studio on campus to optimise learning.
Study in Malaysia, Obtain UK Degree Programmes
The cost of studying abroad is relatively high but not if students are studying at SEGi while they still can earn UK Degrees staying right here in Malaysia. The curriculum, quality assurance and certifications are all directly from the UK. With various learning portals, SEGi students are still able to communicate with their professors and mentors in the UK and actively interact with their other virtual classmates from other countries.
