SEGi College Subang Jaya alumni Muhammad Danial Iqbal won the adult feather (64.1 -70kg) category in the Malaysia Jiu Jitsu International Open 2022 on 19 February 2022. The event, hosted at Club Drive, Bandar Utama, was executed with a high professional standard and participated by teams from all over Asia and Oceania.
Jiu Jitsu is a family of Japanese martial arts and a system of close combat. This competition is the first Malaysia Jiu Jitsu International Open to have Master 1 and Master 2 Divisions along with Adults, Juvenile and Kids following the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) weight categories.
Muhammad Danial Iqbal graduated in Diploma in Interior Architecture at SEGi College Subang Jaya. He represents team Monarchy MMA Academy in the competition. We are proud of our Iqbal’s achievement and wish him and all our alumni continuous growth and success.
