A safer campus starts with the small moments \u2014 speaking up, checking in, and choosing kindness when it matters most.<\/p>\n

That spirit shaped the Anti-Bullying Campaign 2026: Be Kind, Speak Up<\/strong>, a month-long initiative that encouraged students to look at bullying more seriously and to be part of a more respectful, supportive campus culture. Rather than relying on reminders alone, the campaign turned awareness into action through student participation, open conversation, and creative expression.<\/p>\n

One of the most visible parts of the campaign was the Message Wall<\/strong>, where students and staff left words of encouragement, support, and reminders to stand against bullying. Simple as it seemed, the wall quickly became a powerful space filled with messages about empathy, courage, and the importance of not staying silent when someone is hurting.<\/p>\n

The campaign also featured a Bullying Awareness Talk<\/strong> by Ms Wan Zut Yin<\/strong>, a Registered Counsellor, who unpacked the different forms bullying can take, from physical and verbal bullying to social exclusion and cyberbullying. With 56 participants<\/strong> in attendance, the session helped students better understand the emotional impact of bullying, the role of peer support, and why speaking up can make a real difference.<\/p>\n

Adding another layer to the campaign was the Artwork Showcase<\/strong>, where students expressed anti-bullying messages through their own creative work. Through themes of kindness, inclusion, acceptance, and standing up for others, the showcase gave the campaign a more personal and reflective voice.<\/p>\n

More than just an awareness campaign, Be Kind, Speak Up<\/strong> reminded the campus community that preventing bullying is not only about rules. It is about the kind of environment people choose to build together \u2014 one where respect is normal, empathy is visible, and no one feels alone.<\/p>\n
