Recognising the financial challenges animal shelters face, the event aimed to raise funds to provide much-needed support for the care and well-being of needy animals.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Running an animal shelter entails significant expenses, including food, toys, and medical supplies. While it is a noble duty, it can financially overwhelm individuals. Understanding the importance of community involvement, SEGi took the initiative to organise a fundraising activity supporting animal shelters.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">During the event, SEGi students set up an engaging booth where participants could participate in a roulette activity by contributing just RM1. This fun-filled activity not only provided entertainment but also offered participants a chance to win exciting lucky draw prizes. Moreover, the event served as a platform for individuals to donate directly to the animal shelter, fostering an atmosphere of support and compassion.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The funds collected from this event were allocated towards purchasing animal food, which was later donated to the PAWS Animal Shelter in Petaling Jaya.
